One of the achievements of such projects is our "Sungai Bunus Flood Mitigation Project" which includes construction of Jack Box tunnel across RE Wall as not only the first of its kind in Malaysia, but also the world.
Perunding Azman, Ooi & Rao (PAOR) Sdn. Bhd has designed unique solutions to build pipes roofing and Jacked Box tunnel
to cut across the existing RE walls. Its challenges lie in several levels - from building the main structure in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle with limited working space, battling with water reflux, and rising water levels from the Klang River while ensuring the Akleh highway remains functioning and unaffected by the ongoing work. It is one of the most complex and most rewarding achievements that GASB is so proud of.
